1. Pitha is one of the most famous dishes of Assam. It is made from rice flour and comes in sweet and savory varieties. It is prepared from rice flour and filled with cabbage, radish, brown sugar, coconut and other ingredients. Traditional pitha flour is boiled in bamboo shoots and eaten with tea for breakfast.

2.Silkworm Fry This dish may sound a bit out of the ordinary, and eating this dish really requires an acquired taste. But if you are one of the experimenters, then you cannot miss it. It is made from silkworms, as the name implies, and is relatively unknown in the rest of India. Silkworm fry is a delicious meal with a rich mix of spices.

3. Pork Stir Fry If you love a sharp, meaty texture, you can’t miss this dish. Pork chops are sautéed with broccoli, onion, capsicum, ginger and garlic before serving. Its flavor is enhanced by thickening it with cornstarch and adding spices.

4. Gughni a traditional spice made from soaked chickpeas cooked in a pool and seasoned with onions, cilantro and chillies, can be enjoyed alone or with a cup of tea. Lamb pieces can be put on top.

5. Patishapta is the Indian cousin of the thin, crunchy crepes popular in France. Patishapta is a type of pitha that is popular throughout eastern India. It is filled with delicious jaggery and stuffed with grated coconut.
